Lephis Waterfall is located in Negele Arsi district. Lephis offers an eye catching waterfall, formed by one of the main streams that flow from the Arsi massifs to Lake Shala basin. It is 15 meters wide in flood. The river splashes on to the sheer chasm more than 20 meters deep and throws up sprays of water.  This waterfall is magnificent during the peak rainy seasons. Lephis is one of the Oromia’s few waterfalls that currently draws visitors. Local people  offer a guiding service and sell handicraft souvenirs.
