Portuguese Bridge: The Portuguese missionaries constructed this historical bridge during the 16th century.  It is located adjacent to or near Debre libanos Monastery on the way to Fitche. Until the present time, especially during the rainy season it is the only way that connects the lowland settlers in the valley with the highlanders.  It was constructed from local materials and the waterfall made the bridge unique.
