Kullubi Gebreal Church is found in Meta district of East Hararghe Zone near Kullubi town at the distance of 62km from Harar town. One of the most religious pilgrimage sites of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, Kullubi Gebreal was founded in 1892 E.C. by Ras Mekonin, who once was  governor of Hararghe. The Church has attributes of tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
